Final - From the 'Republic Bank Classic' @ Lexington Catholic

Thelen tossed in 29 points. His 3rd game in a row with at least 28 points!

Colonels will now play the winner of the Ballard/Paducah Tilghman game.

Ballard defeated Paducah Tilghman 86-77 on Monday, so CovCath next opponent will be Ballard whom the Colonels will play on Tuesday 12/28/10 @ 3:30pm.

To listen to the CovCath game today vs UHA click on this Link. CovCath Internet Radio plans on Broadcasting the CovCath vs. Ballard game on Tuesday but at the moment I don't have a link for that game.

Thelen was indeed the man but CovCath played as a team as the 24 Assists will attest to. The largest lead CovCath had today was 39/23 (16pts) so by winning by 12, CovCath was never really challenged.

Strange but true: There were only 5 total fouls called on both CovCath (4) and UHA (1) in the second half. I can't tell you the last time I watched a game, that saw a team earn only 1 foul in an entire half!

CovCath was 6/6 from behind the arch and shot 60% from the floor today.

UHA was 7-2 coming into this game!

Any stats, TOG?

About the amount of fouls....was the game officiated well or they just let things go?

IMHO the game was well called, meaning the stripes had control of the game. There were some (IMO) over the back/pushing calls that weren't given and some hand checks/reaching in that the stripes seemed to ignore. In my comment about the number of fouls called, I didn't mean it as a knock on the stripes, just stating a fact that I honestly don't remember the last time I saw a HS game were one team committed only 1 personal foul in an entire half!
