Looks like the Cougars offensive woes against Boone County were fixed in a big way.

 

I think Boone County plays a little tighter defense than Beechwood.

Using the numbers, Boone plays 150 percent tougher defense to be precise.

Game was much better than the score indicated. Beechwood kept it fairly close for the vast majority of the game. Beechwood cut it to 9 with 7 minutes left to go. Conner did a good job of taking advantage of their bench--which kept them more fresh through out the game. Once Beechwood cut it to 9 ... Conner went on a nice run to enlarge the lead. The big guys were good for Conner (nice touch more than anything). Last thought .. if there is any kid in this area that plays harder than Max Nussbaum .. I would be surprised.
