Young Teams in the Regional Finals

Yes you are right. Rockets start only 5-4 seniors on any given night. Those 4-5 guys will be tough to replace though they are the QB-TB-MLB-FB-C. The TB spot will be filled next year bu a senior who was the proposed starter this year but tore his ACL, he will be tough next year though. The MLB spot will be filled fine though with a sophmore that is tough as nails. FB spot will be filled as well with a semi starter as is. QB will be the toughest spot to replace but his brother will probably be the next one to be QB and I dont htink Rock needs to pass it next year wit the line they have coming back, I bet they will be the biggest in the state and possible the strongest. Also argumently the best lineman is a sophmore and he tore his knee at the beginning of the year and will be back as a junior next year so the Rock loses nothing on the line and gains maybe a better one. QB is heart and soul of team.

The Rocks will lose a great senior class with a number of kids that have been contributing since their sophmore year, but... There are 5 juniors and 1 sophmore starting on defense. The offense has 4 juniors and 1 sophmore starting.

Mayfield is still a fairly young team, they lose alot in the backfield, with exception to there qb, but, have some quality kids coming up and there defense has alot of sophs and jrs getting significant time and have a good core of offensive lineman returning, which is always a key to a teams success..
