I think you are still trying to compare this year's Fort Campbell team to the past ones. Last year's team would have beaten this one by 40+ points. But this isn't last year's team.

10 of Fort Campbell's points came after Trigg turnovers so again, that skews the margin comparison.

 

It is what it is. Fort Campbell had more playmakers and the playmakers made the difference in this one. Fort Campbell's ability to run in the first half to set up the play action pass in the second half proved to be the difference

 

BELIEVE ME, THERE IS NOBODY IN FALCON LAND THAT REALIZES MORE THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THIS TEAM AND PREVIOUS TEAMS!!!! THERE HAS ALSO NOT BEEN ANYBODY ON BGP MORE HONEST IN ASSESSING THIS YEAR'S TEAM!!!! When I say last night's performance will not be enough to beat Murray, that is an honest assessment. When I say FC should have beat a one-man Trigg team 42 -7 that is also an honest assessment.

Trigg quarterback ran with toughness. Good 1ST round playoff game, now I'll be heading to Murray on friday, more "Must See TV" matchups in 2ND round.

Tre was well past the infraction when it was called, didn't really need to be called, but oh well....it is what it is.

 

The Falcons need to play much better next week against Murray if they want to advance to the next round. Murray's boys are big, and they won't go down easy.....initial contact needs to be the tackle to bring down the ball carrier.

 

They can't rely on Aaron Hills to carry this game. There MUST be a team effort with NO mistakes.

 

Certainly wished the circumstances would have been different and they were coming here, but at least I get some Carver's out of the trip.
