Tre Powell returns a punt for a TD on FCs first possession.

 

Some said this TD tied the all-time KY state record for punt returns for a TD. I need somebody smart like The Scribe to confirm that as true.

According to the KHSAA records on the website the current record is 10 by Randy Tonge (Bardstown) 1999-01. If Trey has 10 official TD returns then he did tie the record.

The KHSAA stats by season by team doesn't break TDs down very well. They just capture KO returns, INT returns, Punt returns, etc... as "Touchdowns Scored Other". He has scored in so many differeent ways that fit in the "other" category that it is hard to pull out which were punt returns.

I will have to agree with you on that one. It just wasn't that long ago that they were in the semi's and state finals with very good teams.
