Garrard County dominated a pretty weak Taylor County squad 54-0. Don't have any stats to post, but Garrard led 36-0 at half and 48 after three. Tacked an extra one on in the fourth to make it 54-0.

 

Garrard defense looked really good, although Taylor really struggled with their offense. There were about four snaps over the quarterback's head in the first half before they changed to a new center in the second half. Apparently their typical starter at center was out for the game.

 

Garrard was able to spread the ball around and get several kids involved. If there was one criticism of the night, I think Garrard might could have gotten the JVs in one series sooner for a little experience, but oh well. They did play the entire fourth quarter.

Told you it would be ugly. Taylor County is just really having a rough season this year. Congrats to the Golden Lions, hopefully we'll see you guys at The Briar Patch here in a few weeks.
