Marquette's starting big girl (Soph) transferred unexpectedly...did that play a factor in the decision?

 

They are in need of a true post player with size. Lauren will have a great opportunity to play. It was just one of the criteria we looked at that played a part.

Anything you can share as to what pushed them over the top?

My guess is that it was the Big East exposure and the opportunity for a little TV time. Marquette has been recruiting quite a bit in Northern Kentucky. They followed numerous girls over the summer in AAU ball and were around quite a bit last season. Good luck to a fine young lady.
