Good close game for the most part, 12-12 at the half. Raceland pulled away in the second.

This is a very good victory for the RAMS. Winning the 7th/8th grade game and now the 9th grade game. All close games. And learning how to win them is awesome!

Before we hear that GC lost because they only have 4 frosh and they played all 8th graders, just remember, we beat them earlier straight up, too.

Not a valid argument in my book. Both schools agreed to the format. Raceland had one sophomore and five 8th graders, with the rest being freshmen. Greenup had three sophomores, 18 8th graders and the rest being freshmen. Two of Raceland's better freshmen don't even get to play freshmen because they are starting on varsity.

 

And, they have 7 freshmen.

I already tried using the same thing for my /our defense in the varsity game. They didn't want to hear it! 18 Sr's vs two frosh and 3/4 soph. :idunno:

You put on the field what you were given I think is what I understood.
