Wins aren't enough at Highlands, perfection is expected?

Come on G. Why open an old wound? Consensus opinion was that Dale took out his starters way too early to salvage a relationship with Rash. I just hope he doesn't make a habit of this type behavior. Those kids deserve to play most of the game and beat the opposition no matter what the spread. No Highlands fan has questioned his expertise in play calling and critical decision making skills. It seems that folks are putting a spin on this topic.

In my opinion Dale has been making all the calls including when to sub and when not to sub. There is a reason (long term reason ) that he does it his way. It seems to be working , why would he change now ? The big blue machine isn't broken so he isn't going to fix it.

As far as the seniors playing there last year of high school football ,they got lots of playing time last year as juniors , and some were even starting as juniors ,and Dale has been known to start some vey good players as sophomores. Believe me those players know before hand that they might only play a half in a one sided game. It's been going on for years , and they don't mind. They sacrifice not only for state titles , but also to keep the tradition going. Go Birds !!!
