Last year Station beat Creek 35-18 with 279 yards rushing.

 

This year Tates Creek boasts one of the fastest defenses in 6A giving up about 100 yards total in two games.

 

Station has UK commit Darrian Miller, Evan Talbert, and Tim Hayden.

 

Creek has D-linemen Jamal Wagner (Cincinnati lean), Tadaris Jemison, and Aaron Mullins (Top 100 Underclassmen MVP)

 

At linebacker Creek has 4 year starter Jonny Meadors and Top 50 Junior (Courier Journal) Kalin Poe (several D1 schools).

I have seen Station play and believe that Tates Creek will win this one if they can wear them down. GRC beat Station 46-18 first game of the season. Pre-season Tates Creek is rated above GRC in our district. I believe that TC will improve their record to 3-0 and Station will fall to 0-3. Best of luck to both teams.

The coaching change at Station will be the difference in this game.

With Dr. Oliver Lucas having moved on to Manual, Tates Creek should win this game .

Tates Creek should grind this one out over 3 Qtrs, finally pulling away in the 4th.
