Mr. Football

A very good article. Lamar Dawson is the obvious front runner. However, it does mention alot of the other top players in the state.

If this article has missed any players that YOU think need to be mentioned then please do so. I'd like to know to what other players to watch out for in the state. :thumb:

Dawson may not win b/c he is primarily a defensive player but he should win it. He is as good as I have seen in KY HS football.

I agree. Whether we agree or not, one of the things that gets noticed is the statistics and the offensive numbers can have a much larger impacts. Just look at the positions of previous Mr. Footballs, not to many young men on there that were just known for their defense. Micah Johnson, for example, was a force to deal with on Fort Campbell's offense as well as a very strong defensive tool used by the Falcons.

Everything that I have seen about Dawson says he should be a big contender this year. As well as being great on defense, I think the better he does on offense the better his chances would be to earn this title, as it would help highlight him as a player.
