What does Montgomery County need to do to improve in 2010/2011? What do they need to keep doing to be sucessful? Remember, please be constructive.

2010-2011 will be interesting. Although this team will probably not have much height, they could cause alot of teams problems. They should be able to get up and down the floor and if my thinking is correct, all five starters should be able to put the ball in the basket from anywhere on the floor. This team will rely heavily on teamwork and defense.

This is purely speculation based on 2009-2010. I did not get to see any summer ball. I think B. Fruth is point, Handshoe is SG, Prewitt is SF, Dotson is PF, and Mullins in the post. I also think sophomore Combs will get some valuable minutes. Asberry will be in the mix.

The freshman coach, Ryan Wilson, was promoted to JV coach. I am not for sure who replaces him at the freshman level.

I forgot about Clark. He could provide some offense with both his driving ability and the ability to shoot the three.

Josh Cook, previously from Knott County is the new freshman coach. He is young and has a great future.

I think Montgomery County will have to improve thier ability to win close games and be able to play under pressure. There will be a lot of close games this year that can go either way. Montgomery will have to be able to execute in order to pull out some of these close wins. They are going to also have to be able to score when Prewitt is having an off night.
