BP will not stop this. I just seen on CNN that BP posted a Spill plan that had many flaws, included in those flaws:

 

1. The "go-to" specialist they listed died in 2005.

 

2. Under the heading "sensitive biological resources," the plan lists marine mammals including walruses, sea otters, sea lions and seals. None lives anywhere near the Gulf.

 

3. The names and phone numbers of several Texas A&M University marine life specialists are wrong. So are the numbers for marine mammal stranding network offices in Louisiana and Florida, which are no longer in service.

I've been watching the same report. It also showed that BP had received an astoundingly greater number of safety violations than all other companies combined. What I don't know is how many rigs BP has compared to how many any other company has.

 

Right now they are discussing how BP won't let its clean up workers wear mask, because of the negative image that will portray to the media. Here's a news alert! BP...your image is pretty much "bottom of the barrel" at the moment. You can't get any worse.
