Who are some of the teams participating?

Highlands plays all Ohio teams this weekend,

Fri-6.30vs Oak HillS, 8 vs Anderson

Sat-2 vs Loveland, 3 vs Centerville & 5 vs Ottawa

This last week Beechwood played Ross, Lawrenceburg, Milford 1 and Milford2, Fayetteville, and Madiera. Fangman was best player on the court in all games. Nussbaum, Maus and McKenzie all sophmores played well. Cruse also had a nice camp when he could make it.

Highlands played well tonight at the NKU camp against a physically strong Oak Hills team and a pretty athletic Anderson squad. Coach Flynn mixed and matched different lineups using 4 Sr's, 2 Jr's and 3 sophomores and a Freshman. Connor Crowley played some pretty good ball tonight asserting himself all over the floor. Soph Bailey Witte was pretty hot from behind the arc dropping in 4 Threes on the night. Stewart looked his usual self knocking down mid range jumpers and drop stepping his way to several buckets on the block. 6'5 Freshman Nick True also had a fantastic 2nd half against Anderson swatting a shot and running the floor and catching a tough pass for a layup (and one).

Tomorrow afternoon the Birds take on Loveland, Centerville and Ottawa. Centerville has a kid that is atleast 6'11 and I hear they are the largest school in Ohio.

Highlands beat Loveland 45-42 on Saturday, lost to Centerville (Huge school from Ohio) 60-39. That team had a 6'8 kid, 6'6 thick football stud and several kids with motors that just didnt stop. I heard Centerville is the largest school in Ohio. They won their final game against Ottawa-Glandorf, OH who was a scrappy team that pressed the entire game. 57-53. This team was ranked in Top 10 Div 3 in State of OH.

I saw a group of CovCath Sophomores taking on Amelia and heard that went to OT, not sure who won. Cin Country Day had a very physical squad as well.

Bellevue suprised me with how well they handled CCD. There was a kid about 6-6 or 6-7 and was built like a linebacker, I figured he would man-handle the tigers. D.J. Slater from Bellevue played him very tough and the Tiger's won easily.
