Ryle 11 Conner 6

Featured Replies

The play I am talking about was when Liechty doubled to lead off the inning, with Conner down 8-3, and then the coach had Hart try to sacrifice bunt. It was pooped up and the catcher caught the ball behind home plate.

I'm saying because he squared around at the last second and slapped at a high pitch is why he popped out! Great play by Hoskins, but another example of how not to lay down a sacrifice bunt! It's not a suicide, square early and only offer at strikes!!!:puke:

The kid was trying to bunt for a hit, NOT a sacrifice. I think we all agree that a sac bunt when you are down by that many runs was silly and even the player recognized that. Maybe not the best pitch to try it on, but let's give the players a little credit for understanding the situation at hand. :deadhorse:

Sorry Sparky, but if you had to sit through the other 2 dozen times Iv'e watched horrific decisions by the players and coaching staff you would better understand my frustration!
