Does anybody think the fields will be playable tomorrow?

Even with a tarp, I don't think Ryle will play on their field. The field is dry but foul territory and behind home plate has deep standing water, not to mention the outfield is a swamp. We'll see . . . .

 

Frankly, I'll bet there's quite a few fields that won't be playable on Tuesday, even with the rain coming to a stop late tonight.

The problem with tarps is the water has to go somewhere and without proper drainage, the foul territories and outfields are a problem.

Hard to believe, but it looks like Ryle will be playing their game against Lloyd today at 5:30. Power of the tarp . . . . .

Boyd Countys Tarp is just floating. the water is up to the top of the outfield

fence today. Baseball, football and softball fields are all under water.
