Highlands vs. Cov Cath predictions

Any thoughts?

This isn't a football game is it? I mean a HHS fan post something on BGP's so it must be about football right?

Actually, was going to give a heads up, but then again. :isurrender:

Get there early cause parking will be bad. Not really, I just needed something to say. Wait, here you go. Maybe HHS can come up with a "915" play of the game. Or maybe the Covcath fans can visit "Mels" concession and spend their money there since there is no admission to the games. Regular season games are free in Ft. Thomas. So ante up Colonel fans. PeeWee's doesn"t need it.

I'd expect Gerwe and Rizzo to start for each team.

I know HHS has played a brutal schedule so I'm curious to see how they look. I can't imagine CCH trying to run on Sam. CCH doesn't run the bases very well - not a very fast team nor a team that gets good jumps. We'll see how well HHS handles bunts.

I don't believe CovCath even has a chance against HHS on Tuesday. As noted CovCath can't run, they can't hit, they don't get a great jump on the ball and HHS has indeed played a tough schedule, while CovCath has played nothing but cupcakes so far this season! Yep, no need to drive over to Ft Thomas Tuesday to watch CovCath get beat by HHS.

Good luck Coach Baioni ! In any other game I would be rooting for you but on Tuesday, I am sure you understand!

I expect the dog owners to be highly ticked when they bring Ralph up for some exercise and see a mass of cars lining the road all the way down to the Dogpark area. Lol

I'd expect Gerwe and Rizzo to start for each team.

Raises a good question Clyde - what is the season to date totals on steals and successfully getting from 1st to 3rd or 2nd to home on a base hit? When you were bored in your hotel compiling batting averages, did you get these numbers too? I would be interested to know these. As everyone on here knows, I have not been to a single game in person, but from all that I have read and heard, it does seem like this team does not have the speed of most teams of the past.

This is not a fast team by any means. They do have some good baserunners but I don't see many true base stealers. They're going to have to get it off of a slow-to-the-plate pitcher today.

That is what I was wondering. Seemed I read a lot early in the year about guys not getting the extra base, or getting from first to third. But then I saw in a recent game they had like 6 stolen bases, which seemed a surprise to me. So, as you state, they need to take advantage of the pitcher today. But then again, if TOG is right, our boys do not stand a chance so no reason to even think they can win, right??:rolleyes::clap:
