This is a big win for Corbin. It puts them at 2-0 in the district (if both games count towards district play) and gives them the inside track for the #1 seed for the district tourney.

Big win for Corbin. South will have to win out in district play and hope Corbin takes a few on the chin to have a chance at that #1 seed. However, it's virtually impossible. South just hasn't scored runs like in years past. Very frustrating. Props to Corbin.

At this point in the season, after having watched several games, I think it is fair to say that Corbin and Whitley both are going to be contenders. South is only averaging about 3 runs a game and unless their defense and pitching improves dramaticly it will be tough to win many games.
