Final from Grayson. Very interesting game. Coaches tossed and tempers soared in this barn burner. Very nice move to dodge the tag to win the game. Good job East!:clap:

What coaches got tossed.

One of EC assistant coaches got ejected on a play that I didnt think was worth even arguing. The play reffered to when the player left his feet to allude the tag. I thought there was a rule change that players were automatically ruled out if they go airborne on a play such as that one. None the less Sheldon Clark should have never lost this game after being up 5 in the 6th. Our pitcher took a line drive off his throwing arm in the 5th inning and then made the play to get the last out. He would have probably been able to finish the game up and get the win but the pain was just to much and he lost all velocity and most of his control. On another note, I can't remember seeing a East Carter team that bad in the field. I know its really early but they have a few questionable spots on D.

The coach got ejected for arguing rightfully so that a SC player made an attempt to but on a bunt and missed and the ball struck him and the ump called it a dead ball HBP.

As the home plate umpire explained to the EC coaches, the kid didnt have the ability to move the bat back due to being struck in the head. It was the right call and the EC coaches were already fired up from a play that happend earlier. It kind of spilled over to this and lead to the ejections.
