Ryle Raiders JV squad traveled to Dixie Heights to play the Colonels in the first game under the lights at DHHS this season. Im not sure who the kid who started for the Raiders was but Adam Dickman started for the Colonels and Cody Sprague came in relief for him. Good game to both teams. Good job Colonels on your win!

Just got home from my sons freshman game, its still being played right now and it started at 7 30! So mom is at the game with him. But I saw the tail end of this game and the JV Colonels looked good. York seems like a pretty solid short stop. Welp got to get to bed. Works early in the morning!

York is a very good athlete. I would assume it is his bat that is keeping him of Varsity thus far? Kid is a slick fielder!

Yeah his bat is id say. But also the Varsity team has a pretty solid short stop in Corbin Dematteo. York would be a good back up though.

Dixie has a very strong sophomore class that should keep the program in the hunt for a regional championship over the next 3 years.

I heard York had 3 hits?? and Stansberry had a couple including a jack over the left-center field fence....nice report on Dickman pitching a very solid 5 innings allowing only 1 run. Good start for the colonels. :thumb:
