CovCath Varsity scrimmaged against their JV on the Field Turf of Wooten Stadium in the rain Saturday morning. Wasn't too bad, as I have watched games in worse weather!

 

As per tradition, after I watched a couple of innings, I went over to Koch to buy my score books for the season, while stopping at Fountain Square to have a Irish Beer (St. Patrick Day activities were going on). Great day! :thumb:

Shelby County went to North Bullitt. They have a very nice field. The Varsity scrimmaged for 7 innings and then the jv for 3 innings. Shelby won the scrimmage 5-4 and was leading 5-0 when the jv started playing.

Dixie will scrimmage Holy Cross and Ryle in the upcoming week and a half

Shelby Co. will be hosting Owen Co. on Thursday 3-18-10. Should be a good scrimmage game to watch as Owen figures to be in the hunt in the region.

Is the Dixie-Ryle game next Saturday (20th)? Is the time set yet? I was told it would be at Dixie's field - correct? Unless it flat out doesn't rain a drop this entire week, I don't think Ryle's field will be dry enough. It is unbeleivable soggy in the infield (grass portion).

St. Henry scrimmages Bourbon Co. tues

Nicholas County has a scrimmage on Monday.

Pendleton County has a scrimmage with Williamstown on Thursday.

Harrison County has a scrimmage with Anderson County later this week.

On Tuesday Highlands goes to Beechwood for a Varsity scrimmage. Then JV goes over to scrimmage Highlands.

Yes. Dixie's field is already looking great. From what I heard they already had an inner squad scrimmage sometime last week on their baseball field.
