Lawrence off a little, probably from the injury that she is soldiering through. Hammond off a little offensively. But, in typical Rock fashion, Alexander stepped up.

Split with Scott County this year. Losing by 3 at Scott and winning by 14 at Montgomery tournament.

I saw her once this year; she absolutely lit it up from outside.

 

I guess statman will be happy with this result.

The Lady Cardinals trailed 46-44 with four minutes left, but the Lady Rockets outscored Clark 10-1 in the final three minutes to end Clark’s successful season. Rockcastle outscored Clark 12-6 in the final quarter.

 

Jewell Rogers scored five of Clark’s first seven points and had four in a 6-0 run by Clark that turned a 4-1 deficit into a 7-4 advantage with three minutes remaining in the first quarter. Rogers scored eight points in the first eight minutes and finished with 13 points. Clark, which has relied on its defense during an impressive run to close out the season, forced 15 turnovers and committed just nine.

 

 

Preshia Rogers led Clark in scoring with 15 points. Rockcastle County guard Jackie Alexander led all scorers with 23 points.

Black finished with eight points and was named to the all-tournament team.
