When I saw GRC last night they didnt even start a girl over 5'7. Our size will be the reason we roll in this one. They can not stop Hammond or Alexander. Yes anyting can happen but we are determined to win and Coach Noble wont let us get the big head.

Despite making their first appearance in the tournament in 15 years, the Lady Cardinals continued their success in first round games. The opening marked the Lady Cards’ ninth overall appearance with a record of 8-1 in openers and has a 3-4 record in second-round games.

Clark (19-10) will take on Rockcastle County in the last of four quarterfinal games today at 9 p.m.

“We’ve got nothing to lose now,” True said. “Rockcastle County is ranked third or fourth in the state and we just need to come out and see what we can do.

Rock pushes the ball as well as anyone in the state and even though Hammonds and Alexander get a lot of praise (which is well deserved!) their guard play is very solid as well! I look for Rock to advance on to Saturday morning!
