Great team win for Boone. My upset pick of the tourney didn't materialize. I was very suprised that Thelen for NDA never got in the game.:idunno:

 

I am sure you will see more than enough of her next season. This NDA group of playes has a whole lot of promise and size. Hope they get some work in during the off season if there is such a thing.

Congrats to Boone County for the win. Congrats to Notre Dame for such a great season! After losing 5 great seniors to graduation, a lot of people thought this team would not be very successful. The fact that the Pandas won District and advanced to the semi-finals of the Regional Tournament says tons about the "wolfpack".

 

Notre Dame is very young and the majority of the starters will have at least 2 more tries to win a state title (NDA doesn't measure success in Regional titles).

The NDA students while small in number compared to the boys across the CovCath hwy were loud and they had a great time.

 

Was fun to see them cheer!

I hope that becomes the thought process for the basketball team. Because winning region once every 20 years should not be acceptable at a school like NDA!

 

It will be fun to watch the returning players and to see how they develop with another year with the coaching staff and a full "off-season."
