They came out with the same defense that Montgomery Co tried. It got ugly quick. Way to advance Cards, take care of business and obtain your dreams for this season. Go CARDS.

Best of luck to Harrison Co seniors.

As bad as it was, it could have actually been worse. GRC is the real deal, one of the longest teams I have seen in HS hoops. Excellent defensive pressure by the Cards, they smothered whoever had the ball for the Breds.

It will be tough for any 10th region foe to beat the Cards this year or next, IMO.

I agree, they didn't want to get in a running game with us. I am well pleased with the way the Cards have been playing. Thought Fatkin came in and did a great job off the bench as well as Charlie Rogers. Both are Sophomores and going to be good players.

Clark County had all the points it needed by halftime of the first game of the 10th Region Tournament on Thursday night.

The Cardinals surrendered only four points in the entire first half and coasted the rest of the way for a 77-31 victory over Harrison County in the Mason County Fieldhouse.

Clark County led 35-4 by halftime and 60-16 after three quarters before playing the overmatched Thorobreds nearly even in the fourth quarter.

Vinny Zollo scored 15 points and Corey Rogers added 14 points for the Cards, who had five players score nine or more points.

Clark County, the favorite to win the region, moved one step closer to Rupp Arena and the Sweet Sixteen. Clark will next play on Saturday against Scott, which defeated Bracken County 67-46 later Thursday night.
