Final. Vance Hall with 18 points. Great job Flyers. :thumb:

Frankfort made the Flyers work, unlike the two regular season meetings. It was a 5-point game when Vance Hall -- showing the great player he is -- hit a 25-footer at the third quarter buzzer, his second buzzer beater in as many quarters.

Frankfort looked to slow the pace and that strategy worked for three quarters. Even the Flyers played into that strategy in the third quarter when they held the ball for almost 3 minutes up by only 3, 24-21. I am sure the Frankfort coaches were ecstatic when they saw that.

But, in the end, Franklin County was simply the better team, but only because of better players.

Jimmy's and Joe's.

Great game plan by Coach Wise of FHS. I agree that Franklin County played into that plan the first half. FHS got into the bonus early by driving and drawing fouls. They made 15 free throws in the 1st half.

However FC did finally adjust by taking the middle away with a more sagging defense.

I also thought Hall was way too unselfish the first half. He should have looked for his shot more.

Good win for FC!!!!!
