I was at the game; great atmosphere, very vocal Greenup student section. The biggest

crowd I have seen at any high school game in the 16th region this year. I do not know what the green house holds but it was almost three fourths full on both sides. Both teams are young and this should be a great rivalry for the next several years. I really liked the play of Hunt and Skaggs (both freshman) for Russell. I also thought the Riffe kid for Greenup came off the bench (sophomore) and gave them a nice lift when Russell was pressing.

After returning from Richmond disappointed at the outcome for my Eagles, I decided (along with some other Fairview fans as I saw) to head to Greenup to watch this one. Glad I did. What a terrific ballgame! Seemed like there were more people in the stands at GCHS than at EKU the day before.:lol: Huge shot by the freshman to send it into overtime and then Russell went stale. Congratulations to Greenup on the win. Hampton played "wide" in the overtime period.
