Campbell controlled things throughout. Scott is missing two key starters due to injuries which really hurts their chances in most games at this point.

I agree with you on this by why in the world is Tibbs not getting the ball every time down the court? In my opinion when she did get the ball Campbell County could not stop her. This left me scratching my head on why she did not get the ball more often.

Who are the 2 key starters? I know that one is Kelsey, the point guard, but I am not sure who the other one is. Any time table on when Kelsey will be coming back.

From my observations of Scott's team here are a few thoughts.

 

1. I am not sure that everyone knows the offense. It looks very ragged at times for 17 games into the season compared to other teams.

 

2. Offensive execution is poor. (passing, screening, sharp cuts, etc.)

 

3. I am not sure that some of the girls have a true understanding of the game and when and where the ball needs to go. They struggle with understanding match ups and beating the double teams with ball reversal.

 

4. Some of the offensive sets they try to run are not well thought out. I think there are better ways to get Tibbs better looks inside.

 

When teams play Scott straight up man to man, there is no reason that they should not have 2-3 basic sets that are well executed that they go to and Tibbs touches the ball everytime.
