20 may have turned out for tryouts but they are down to 10 on the roster and I can tell you that nobody got cut that should have made the team.

Understand. I guess my questions which really can not be answered are:

Would more boys have tried out if there were a 'B' team, opening up more spots?

Which of the players cut, if kept in the program, would have developed into a better player than some of the boys who made the team?

Again, I certainly understand that all schools could not have two teams, but I think there are some schools in NKY who if the option is there for them, have the talent to do so.

Not at Highlands brother. By Frosh year many have made the decision that they will be football players for life. With that said, I cant think of any kids who made that decision that would be a better fit than the 10 kept. I know most if not all of the boys in the class and I cant think of any that didnt come out that have future possibilities of developing either. Just not a lot of depth at Highlands in hoops. Its a football school no doubt :isurrender:

With that said, Coach Flynn is making tremendous strides to change that and make Hoops just as important. I think he will do a great job in getting more interest in hoops and creating a nice program going forward.
