Games today (Wed 12/30) start at 10:30am @ CovCath

The first game of the day pits:

10:30am The Elder Panthers (4-1) vs. the Simon Kenton Pioneers

12 noon CovCath Colonels (5-2) vs Mason County Royals

@ 2:00pm the losers play

@ 3:30pm the winners play

Should be a fun morning/afternoon of freshmen basketball @ CovCath today!

Anyone have the records of Mason County and or Simon Kenton frosh teams? I looked on each schools web site and found nothing!

You can listen to the CovCath/Mason game at Noon on CovCath Internet Radio. Click here.

Simon Kenton has a very nice team and Mason Co I think is down on the frosh level.

You might see SK and Cov Cath in the Finals which will be a very good game. With that said, Elder probably has a nice squad as well so without knowing what they have its tough to call out a winner.

Elder has beaten:

Oak Hills, Purcell, LaSalle (b) and Wilmington

Elder has lost:

LaSalle (a)

Any updates on who won?

Any updates on who won?

CovCath won 49-34 and will play Elder at 3:00 who beat Simon Kenton.

I like the potential of this CCH freshman class. Well rounded. With physical maturity they will be good ballplayers in a few years. Reminds me a bit of the current CCH junior class in regards to depth.
