I was in Lexington Christmas shopping and didn't make the game, but from what I was told by someone who was there is both teams shot a lot of 3's and Menifee County hit a bunch of their's. The person I talked to said Menifee had one of their best teams in a long time. He said a college scout was there looking at one of their players. Don't know what the college division was, though.

Menifee has a set of twins that are very good. One a bit better than the other but both good. I can't remember the names.

Blake and Patrick Greene. Blake is a really nice player.

Menifee rips Owsley

 

BOONEVILLE — Menifee County blistered Owsley County’s zone in the first half with 10 3-pointers and went on to a 110-86 victory on Thursday night in a boys basketball game.

 

The Wildcats (3-0) were 10 of 14 from behind the arc in the first half.

 

Twins Patrick and Blake Greene scored 23 and 20 to lead the attack. Caleb Howard had 17 points and David Meeks and Cody Peck added 13 apiece.

 

It was the most points Menifee County has scored since putting up 114 against Wolfe County last season.

 

Owsley County fell to 1-2.
