Goos Job, by both Coaching Staffs. Both teams have had good years. Lynn Camp was one call from probally winning the District. McCreary 3 straight trips to the play-offs, after goning 20 years with no trips. Good Luck to the Raiders and Lynn Camp.

Lynn Camp was actually 2 holding calls from being 1st or 2nd in the district, IMO, noles. (We had every call in the world thrown at us last week!:ohbrother:)

One was a back breaker against C'ville and the other one probably kept them from scoring the tying points against Williamsburg. Calls are calls. Can't live by what could have been. Gotta go to Raceland, regardless of it all, unless the "Review Fairy" visits the Cats in their sleep and leaves them a District Title Trophy under their pillow.....

 

I really enjoyed the LC/MCC game. I knew all week that if we could give Watts his yards, but limit those yards to gains and not machine gun scores, we would have a shot. We contained the best we could, but the kick return points were what killed us, IMO. We had our chances. We did not capitalize on a turnover, we blew up on 3rd downs a few times.

 

Congrats to the Raiders. Heck of a season. Looking forward to seeing Y'all over here next year.

 

What does MCC have in waiting to replace Watts and Roark? #1 looked like he could develop into a player. What does next year hold?:confused:

Well, you don't ever replace a Roark or Watts but we do have some very athletic yougsters that wuill develop into some very good football players if they work hard in the off season. Actually we return 3 kids who run faster than either of them. I think we will improve the line play because of an extra year of work (if they work in the off-season). The key position for us will be QB but we will have an entire year to figure it out. I hope the youngsters learn from this group of uper-classmen because it was the dedication to the off-season that has us where we are at. If they wouldn't have been dedicated in Dec - July we would be lucky to be 2-8 right now (maybe 3-7). I guess only time will tell!
