Yes if Lincoln beats SL there will be a 3 way tie for third. In that case SL would get third and then head to head between the remaining teams (LC & MC) settles fourth. So I don't think there is any scenario that would allow LC to make playoffs.

 

Wrong. How do you figure that SL would get third if they lose? All three would have a 1-3 record.

 

There would be a three way tie and it would go to the records of the non-common defeated opponents. Mercer would have 0 points and Lincoln County would have at least 1. Mercer loses the tie-breaker in that situation.

I am going to start a thread for 5A, Districts 7 & 8.

There is No Way Lincoln will beat SL. Lets see, Lincoln just lost to an 0-8 team. 2 years not making the playoffs for Lincoln. I guess there is no talent in Lincoln Co.
