Cards overcome elements to top Creek

 

 

Clark (5-3) wrapped up at least a share of the district title and clinched a home playoff game with two weeks remaining in the regular season. The Cards can wrap up the district crown with a win at Madison Central next week. The Cards’ last regular-season district title came during the school’s state championship run in 1991. Just like last week, the team’s third win in a row came down to the final drive, with the Cards clinging to a six-point lead.
