Final.

Good win for AC over a quality opponent. Jtown has some incredibly fast runners, and a much improved QB; they can score in a hurry.

14-7 at the half, despite a wide disparity in yardage (AC >200, JT about 80). It was still 21-20, Anderson, midway through the third, before the Bearcats pulled away.

Didn't see the game, but my guess is those big boys up front for AC finally wore down that smaller Jtown line...

Big district game next week for Jtown as they travel to Oldham County. The winner probably secures home field advantage in the first round of the playoffs. (if Oldham wins, they are set up to finish 1 or 2 in the district; if Jtown wins, they probably finish 2nd) Not a guarantee for either - both have yet to play Grant County, but both will be heavily favored over the Braves.

This win probably all but guarantees Anderson a home playoff game; they are 2-0 in the district with remaining games against South Oldham in two weeks, a game they will be heavily favored in, and against Oldham on 10/23. If Oldham beats Jtown, that game will likely decide the district crown.
