Final. Royals' soph Josh Harris with 81 yards rushing, 3TDs, 87 yards receiving and 12 tackles. Congrats also to soph Tyler Black on his first TD as a Royal.

^ That post was actually a disservice to Lewis County. They played extremely hard the whole way; knocked a couple of Mason County players out of the game. Sacked the QB 4 times; Mason had only allowed 2 sacks over the course of the first 5 games of the season.

But it was never close.

 That's a classic reply to the question "was the game close at one point?"

Congratulations to Mason County for doing what they were supposed to do. Games like that can be difficult to get through for the players and sit through for the fans. Hopefully Russell can give them some competition next week.

What players for Mason County were knocked out of the game? Was Lewis County bigger up front, quicker, what? Lewis County should consider this a victory, moral or whatever. Very surprised at this one, score-wise and elsewhere.

Lewis Co. put some very quick guys on the defensive line and sometimes overloaded on side when Mason was in the shotgun. Cooper for Lewis is very fast and a good athlete. The first series of the second half Mason ran the ball more and showed that their overall size advantage meant something.

I think Mason could have made the score more lopsided. Sometimes I suspect Coach Buchanan is trying out new schemes/plays when a game is in hand. Also, I think Mason should have run more early in the game considering the size difference.

Oh, I didn't see anyone on either side knocked out of the game. A couple of Mason players have some lingering injuries that were aggravated after a big hit.

Mason Co now 6-0 didn't get to listen to the game due to being at Big Blue Madness.
