Good win by Ludlow. Not many were thinking Ludlow was going to win this game, and they pulled it off. Ludlow's record is now 2 and 2 on the year. Every game has been close this year, so Ludlow could very easily be 4 and 0, however I guess very easily could be winless. So being 2 and 2 right now is a good spot for them.

Its really good to see Ludlow's offense doing really well the last 2 weeks. The defense could do a little better though. Ludlow's main thing is that they need to stop letting people score touchdowns other than on offense. Shawnee took the opening kickoff back for a touchdown. So now in every game this year a team has scored at least once while not on offense against Ludlow. So they still need to get that corrected, but other than that from the sounds of it. Ludlow played a pretty good game and got a good win out of it against I believe a 3A school.

Way to go Ludlow and make it three in a row next week. :thumb:

A win is a win baby. When you beat any 3A school when people were doubting you this much I have nothing negative to say. GREAT game by Rice on D and Ashcraft running the ball. Shawnee just couldn't contain him when he went outside. Tonight was the first time I truly saw Stegemoller as a leader. Some on here will take that wrong, but tonight with him playing both ways, talking up players, and doing his best to keep his team loud and proud on the sidelines he showed that trait few players possess. I hope he keeps that going!

It was pretty neat seeing the players crowd around the newly installed Panther at James Rigney Memorial Stadium. Maybe a new tradition after wins at Ludlow? I know I heard a couple youngsters saying, "I want to do that Panther thing" leaving the stadium! I'll take any edge on keeping the talent in red and black even if they just wanna jump around the Panther!

I agree anything to try to keep kids at Ludlow, instead of going to schools like Dixie, etc. Which for the likes of me I still can't figure out what the big deal is with some of the younger kids at Ludlow going to Dixie. I mean Dixie is a good program, but what have they done lately either? But that is a whole other subject, so I will leave it at that. GREAT WIN again tonight by the Panthers, and I look forward to hopefully seeing the winning ways continue next week!!

I don't think anyone has mentioned this yet, so I will. Ashcraft of Ludlow last night ran for around 240 yards last night. He had an unbelievable game, and it deserved to get mention on here.:thumb:

Pretty sure i said he played a good game in my first post on the thread.:D

Ludlow 2-2 record is misleading. Some will look and think they are simply a .500 team, but their two losses have come to teams with a combined 7-2 record. Some could make an argument that they were a play away from the first loss. Not to bad for the Panthers.
