I know too often than not, there is a lot of negativity about coaches and teams. However, as a parent of one of the Paris football players, I wanted to commend Coach Everage for his patience and hard work with this football team. Half the football team was in street clothes Friday night against Hazard and from what I understand, attitudes have been horrible this year. Once again, I just wanted to let everyone know that he's doing a fine job, and sadly, some of the players just don't understand what it takes to have a successful program.

Hopefully they can get things turned around. A big part of that is getting healthy.

I've not understood the dropoff in Paris football myself. Seems to be a toughness issue, and that maybe a hard thing to instill.

Im not so sure half the team was in street clothes due to injury. I think they're mostly healthy. This means that Everage is at least trying to do right by disciplining athletes for poor classroom performance. I hope they get it turned around myself.
