Another great game by the baby Rebels. This game was over in the first two minutes, when the Rebels scored on a 52yd TD pass on the first play, then pick up a Lincoln fumble and returned it for a TD. Whittle had another good game, throwing 3 TD's in the first half. Hellyer with another great defensive game.

Played a little sloppy tonight. Needs to tighten things up before Lex Cath game in two weeks. Lincoln needs a lot of work. I thought McCullum ran well tonight and Hall had a very good game. Defensive front 4 played very well.

 

 

For those of you who pray, please pray for a Lincoln player named Zach Byrd who injured his neck during the game. He went to hospital and I've not heard any updates.

just got an update on Zach Byrd, course its a friend of a friend but Hes good just gonna hold him for a while for observation but overall good condition, Best of Luck to Lincoln County in the rest of your games this year!

Zach Byrd is doing well. His nerves are buldged out to skin level and he is wearing a neck brace to stop more damage until healed. His spirt is up and he wishes to be back playing soon. He is a strong kid and plays hard. If Lincoln can hold this freshman team together with players as tuff as Zach they will have a good team in a few years.

Very glad to hear of his progress. Several Boyle players have been asking me for an update because they knew I had found out his name. They were concerned and will be glad to hear he is doing well. Especially the ones involved in the tackle. I know all Boyle fans wish for him a speedy recovery.
