Very true, but the other factor is turnovers. This NL team has been pretty good at protecting the ball, and they will have to be just as stingy this week. They are on the plus side of the TO column. SL has lost a few they would love to have back. If SL hangs onto the football and keeps pounding away, this will be a very close game. Same for NL.

The word is that the NL boys are pretty focused and ready. I think NL by 13:

I think both teams should be very focused coming into this one. South would LOVE to come out 2-1 after the first 3 games, and North would love to start 3-0 for only the 2nd time in school history (best start was 4-0 under Duncum).

 

I am sure that both coaches are pretty nervous about this one. This is a very important game for both to maintain their momentum only a short time before district play begins.
