Anyone attend this game? Apositive for Bracken County is that they were able to score 21 and scored 49 in a scrimmage against Louisville Atherton. Negative would seem to be the QB going 6-23 with 3 int's, not good at all for a team that was supposed to be going to a spread offense this season. How did Carroll Coounty look? Thanks.

Much closer than I expected.

Carroll should have won big in this one. Yeah I know 44 -21 is big, but 2 touchdowns were called back by penalties. According to the information I was told, Carroll had 10 or more penalties and their QB only completed 1 pass. Carroll had several big runs by Senior Andy Sisenstien and Junior Zach Wise (He had 2 TD's called back due to penalties). Juniors Tyler Gross and Ethan Stewart, along with Senior DC Craig each had interceptions. Junior Tyler Grant also had a blocked punt.

Bracken's first TD was a recovery of a lateral pass picked up and run into the endzone. Other 2 TD's were results of long runs. One went for a TD and the other to the 1 yard line and was punched in the next play.

If in fact Bracken County has gone to a spread offense this season or even if they haven't, hope they will eventually place their best athlete(Eli Florer) at a skill position(running back) to open up the short passing game. Even though he is a freshman he is the best multi-sport athlete at Bracken County High School and is being wasted on the offensive line, this kid has more football experience than even the seniors on the team. Try him at power back and see what happens, he goes about 6'1 200 and has the speed.

Long drive, good win, now it's time to get ready for the Wildcats!

Proud moment to see my son wearing my CCHS football #. I didn't even know, he kept it from me till the game.

That is indeed a wonderful suprise!

Welcome to the site!

Congrats to the Panthers, too.

Congrats to the panthers in a very impressive win. D.C. Craig is the key to this team going far in the state. He is no doubt one of the best players in the area and in my opinion the best defensive player. Keep it up panthers!

Congrats to the Panthers!

Can not wait to see you play. Sounds like you are doing well.
