August 11, 200917 yr Lance talked about the baseball IQ in this town recently, I think he may be on to something. Contrary to RECENT popular belief, Weathers had a VERY good run as a Red. He was a very good set up man, a good closer when we had noone else, and did whatever he was asked of him in his seasons as a Red. It is hard to find that veteran leadership he brought along with his, for the most part, good pitching. He has struggled this year, but he did not deserve to be run out of town like he killed their season, trust me, it was not Weathers.

August 11, 200917 yr David Weathers was not "run out of town". I know that, but he was talked badly about many times, you can say the same thing about Dunn. 2 totally different situations, I understand, but both had solid careers as Reds, but both were scrutinized by the fans.
November 1, 200916 yr Looks like the Reds received an undisclosed amount of cash. http://www.mlbtraderumors.com/2009/10/brewers-reds-complete-david-weathers-trade.html
