^ Even if he skips the Minors and it's going to be at least a month most likely till he signs. He won't have time to log that many innings. I don't think they should run him out anymore than 60 innings.

Strasburg has already thrown 109 innings this year. I can't imagine the Nationals will want to throw him more than 70-75 in pro ball this year ... maybe even less.

 

My guess is, assuming he signs, that he starts out in the minors and is called up in September.

 

 

I think you're right. I can't wait until his first start. I love the thought of seeing him throw that hard against wooden bats & professional hitters.
