Lady Lions pick up their second win of the day after a tough opening loss to Allen County. Garrard scored 8 runs on 9 hits while pitcher Jessica Speake allowed only 2 hits. North Laurel committed seven errors. This was apparently the first win ever for Garrard over North Laurel and propels them into the final eight of the state tournament.

The Lions will face Pleasure Ridge Park on Saturday morning at 9:00. A loss eliminates them, while a win would mean a matchup with the loser of the Mercy/Allen County-Scottsville game.

North Laurel had absolutely no life after the loss to North Hardin. Garrard took full advantage and move on to play saturday. Congrats to the Lions!!! Major accomplishment!
