Talk of tough 1st rd draw in the district. Is there a better opening round game in a district then this one? TC is a top 5 team all season while Lex Cath is top ten among the state. Thoughts?

I imagine it will be Gott vs Williams. Should be an exciting game.

Does not seem fair when all throughout Kentucky you will have teams with less than half the talent of either one of these get to continue to play after this week because they are in a weak district. We will have it happen up in NKY also, good example...Boone County vs Ryle.

Ehhh, fairness is relative I guess. Not worried how fair it was, more an observation of what a great 1st Round matchup this was. Fayette Co. schools bring matchups like this upon them by avoiding Lex Cath during the season forcing random draws for the districts. While one team between Lex Cath, LCA, and TC was gonna go home early anyway TC might have gotten to avoid this upset. Though I think this year seeding would have yielded these two teams still.

Happens in other sports too. Just part of the logistics of the game I guess.
