Seems like Rickels has been on fire for the past two weeks. I could be wrong, but it seems like I've seen his name in the stat line for almost every game.

The Holy Cross Indians advance to the All "A" Classic State Baseball championship game this morning at 9:00am with an 11-3 blowout of Middlesboro in last night's semi-final game at Applebee's Park.

 

Holy Cross has scored 20 runs in the two games on Saturday. They advance to take on Lexington Christian Academy this morning.

 

Holy Cross scored in each of the first five innings, opening up a 3-0 lead going into the bottom of the first inning. The big inning was the 5th when 4 Indians crossed the plate, capitalizing on 5 Middlesboro errors in the game. Middlesboro would get one run in the bottom of the first, while the balance of their scoring came in the bottom of the 5th inning. All of the runs for Holy Cross would be scored without the benefit of a home run.
