Boone probably deserves to be even higher, but given that they probably weren't in many people's top 12 list at the start of the season, it's still a nice (and reasonably fair) jump by them.

Beechwood is too high. They haven't beaten anyone of substance to have that kind of ranking. But, conversely to Boone, they started out ranked high pre-season and haven't necessarily done anything to destroy that initial ranking. I just think they're too high when compared to some others.

Just a stab in the dark:

CCH

Conner

Dixie

NCC

Boone

Ryle

Highlands

HC

Beechwood

Campbell Cty./Lloyd

My only question is how you can give a first place vote to anyone other than CovCath at this point?

CCH needs to be more dominant in order to secure all of the votes.

But - and understand I hate to support CCH  - no one else has stepped up so strongly in NKY that they deserve to take away a first place vote from them. CCH has not looked over-powering by any stretch, but neither has anyone else and at the end of the day, CCH has got the job done in every game so far.

Exactly, I'm no CCH supporter but they have won games (even if they were close) day in and day out against all the other Top 10 teams in the region.

Your arguments have validity. All I'm saying is that could be the reason people are hesitant.

I really don't see a dominant team out of any of these top 10/11. Sure, CovCath is without a doubt the favorite at this point, but it think it is worth noting that there isn't a ton of separation between 1 and 10. Certainly not as large of a gap as there has been in years past.

Should be a good year for baseball in NKY.

Campbell County beat Holy Cross and Campbell's only loss is to Anderson County. I don't know if strength of schedule has anything to do with it but I would think Campbell would be ahead of Holy Cross.

Rule 13

Boone has been playing well and it might be too early to try to argue the rankings. Not many teams have had a solid week of play with the rain outs. The pitchers have the advantage at this point. Lets wait another week or so and see what happens.

Where Can you find the poll ?

I believe it was in the Enquirer on Tuesday?

Thanks

It's about time to see Lloyd in the top ten!:banana::thumb::ylsuper::dancingpa I was starting to wonder what they would have to do top get in.

And Scott is 11th with 14 votes and 12th is Bellevue.
