Megan Taylor (junior) struck out 9 batters and gave up 2 hits in the win. Taylor has stepped into the role as #1 pitcher with the loss of Sears and Cobb to graduation last year. She made the KHSAA State All Tournament Team last season as a sophomore and is coming off knee surgery from an injury last summer.

This is a VERY young Jaguar team and while their preseason ranking is #2 in the state, they have some development to do with their younger players. A load of 8th graders, frosh and sophs on this squad.
