Pirate Pride Posted March 22, 2009 Posted March 22, 2009 Quarterback is a question mark. They need whoever fills the position to be a solid/steady hand. From what I have heard, lack of size across the board may be a problem. Line of scrimmage play is critical in football and maybe even more so with Belfry's style of play. The good news is there is a lot of quality kids who are athletic and can run. Basically the entire secondary returns intact and those kids were a good unit last year. Linebacker also returns some experience but someone will have to become the tackling machine that Dotson was. I am looking forward to seeing how Coach Mickey and Coach Haywood utilize their skill guys. You can pencil in T. Varney at tailback, but outside of that who knows where the other positions will go? I LOVE LOVE LOVE the new schedule.
