Without a doubt I would think the award would have to go to Coach Cantrell of Elliott County. Any thoughts?

I believe he has already won the award. He has done very well in two years. I believe he brings a great deal to the program. Until Cantrell, ECHS had coaches that had been "brought up" within the program (with the exception of 1 year with an ROTC instructor). Cantrell is an "outsider." He brings a different approach... an approach that has turned Lakin Griffith into a scoring machine. Her growth has been the most remarkable! (IMO).
